NW Guitars Wraparound Combination Bridge
(with individual saddle intonation)

The beauty of the wrap-around combination bridge is in its simplicity, and it works brilliantly to deliver heaps of tone in Les Paul Jnr's, Melody Makers and many similar style guitars. However, on a standard wrap-around, the drawback is the ability to adjust your intonation, hence the development of the 'Badass-style' bridge. With independently adjustable saddles your intonation issues are now easily solved, plus they look great too!

If you're going to ensure you get a lot of the extra sustain, note separation and improved tone from this style of bridge you need to make sure it's got some weight to it. Ours weigh in at around 155 grams, including the posts and bushings, and have a high-quality Chrome plating to ensure you get as much string vibration transferred into your guitar's body as possible.

Nice upgrade for fine tuning

I put this bridge on my LP jr. I’ve have a white LP jr and I wanted to change up a lot of the hardware from silver to black to match the P90. I thought I may as well try a different style bridge as I was changing it up and it seems to work great . I did have to sing it down as low as possible as it’s slightly higher than the standard wraparound and I also adjusted the screws so it sits back a bit further as I found this a bit more comfortable for palm muting . It’s a very quick install but takes a little while to set up again afterwards. I had to adjust the pickup height again (I made shims out of EVA foam so it’s adjustable). Then of course you can fine tune the intonation, which is the reason for the upgrade. I did the set up over a few days as I had new string on and wanted to let everything settle but ones it’s all set up it great.

The bridge is solid and looks cool. Easy to install and gives you the advantage of fine tuning. Sound wise I can’t really tell the difference between the original wraparound but this is most likely because it took a few days to set up and settle in, it’s not instant perfection.

I will say though , I’ve been working on this Epiphone Les Paul Junior for a couple of months to tweak it up and have recently been to visits the Gibson Garage and tried out some similar guitars that don’t really hold up against this one bang for buck. I would really recommend getting cheaper guitars and doing the upgrades yourself.

Good budget bridge

Bought this to replace the bridge on a Squier Paranormal Stratosonic. Haven't tried it yet as it's quite tall (overall height to the top of the D and G saddle is 16.8mm) and I suspect I'll have to shim the neck to get the action low enough.
However, it's well made and finished and the saddles don't rattle or wobble, unlike another budget wraparound bridge I've tried. The saddles also seem to be cut cleanly.
All in all a nice item and I look forward to trying it.

Quality guitar part, delivered promptly

The combination bridge is of high quality, and fitted easily onto a Gordon Smith GS1 (gibson junior copy). It improved the intonation of this guitar.
