Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound Tele Pickups

Seymour Duncan’s Quarter Pound for Tele set delivers serious power, with upper midrange growl and punchy drive that transform any Telecaster into a true rock machine.

The Quarter Pound Rhythm pickup features a custom overwound coil that delivers thick, powerful mids that cut through the mix without sounding overly bright, giving rhythm playing and lead lines a bold, full voice.

The Quarter Pound Lead pickup is Seymour Duncan’s highest output Tele single coil, using hand-polished ¼” diameter Alnico 5 magnets and a special overwind to create a huge, P90-like growl. Leads sound thick and aggressive, while chords ring out with rich, sparkling midrange harmonics.

Both the neck and bridge pickups are also available with 3-conductor lead wires, allowing for coil-tap wiring options. This gives players the flexibility to switch between full-throttle output and a more traditional, vintage-voiced tone.

Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Quarter Pound pickups use hand-polished Alnico 5 magnets, Forbon flatwork, and a traditional deep-drawn chrome-plated Telecaster cover for the neck. Each pickup is wax potted for squeal-free performance.
