Seymour Duncan 5-String Quarter Pound Pickups

The Quarter Pound Jazz Bass pickups deliver high output, punchy attack, and a bold, dynamic character. Featuring 1/4” diameter pole pieces and a hot coil winding, they provide a full, balanced response with excellent sustain and rich harmonic detail—ideal for any musical style. These pickups combine the powerful output of an overwound coil with the clarity and articulation of a vintage design.

The neck pickup is reverse-wound/reverse-polarity (RWRP) to eliminate hum when paired with the bridge pickup. Designed as direct replacements for American Standard Jazz Basses, they also fit Mexican Standard Jazz Basses, which use two neck-sized pickups.

Handcrafted in Santa Barbara, CA, the Quarter Pound Jazz Bass pickups are built with Alnico 5 rod magnets and Forbon flatwork, and they are wax-potted to prevent unwanted feedback.
