Artec 50's vintage telecaster bridge pick up

Does what it says on the tin....not that the pickup came in a tin...it was actually very well packaged (as is usual with all NWG deliveries). I wasn't alive in the 50's so I can't verify that the sound generated by this pickup is the same as the one in Clarence 'Gatemouth' Brown's telecaster....If you can find him I guess you could ask him....but you might need a Ouija board for that. As I trust the guys at NWG I'm willing to accept that this pickup would be considered 'cutting edge' if this were 1954...as it is, I just like the sound it makes (though if 'YouTube' is to be believed its as much about how you hit the strings as it is about the hardware....but what do they know? Those Youtubers are all 11 year old idiots who think Jimmy Page is something you do to a 'difficult to open book').
Anyway,.... Seriously, I build one guitar a year and thoroughly enjoy the process. But whatever I'm building (Tele, Strat, Cigar box, Concept monstrosity...) NWG is my 'go to' store for parts and advice. These guys know their stuff (and I bet they've heard of Clarence G Brown too!)
So, guitar builders everywhere....buy from NWG....they will do you right with quality gear at affordable prices, well packaged, swiftly delivered and guaranteed to help you play like Jeff Bonnahendrixson...... (mmm....nice).

Great product

I needed a reasonable priced single coil pickup to improve a cheap telecaster guitar. Ordered an Artec 50s vintage bridge pickup purely on what I’d seen on a YouTube test review wasn’t disappointed. Great sound, does the job brilliantly and certainly makes my cheap telecaster sound a lot less cheap! Looking through their online catalogue I will definitely be making these guys my ‘go to’ people for guitar parts.
