A higher wind on Alnico III magnets makes our Hot Classics a must for the rock and blues player who wants more edge from their Telecasters. Hot Classics have a stronger midrange, thicker bass response and a raunchy upper register.

The Alnico III magnets offer great note separation, even for chord work using boost and overdrive pedals. The neck pickup features a Nickel-silver cover for incredible tonal transparency (no more muddy sounds) whilst the bridge pickup mimics some of the best hot Broadcaster pickups of yesteryear.

These have been Tonerider's best-selling pickup sets over the last few years, and now power thousands of Telecasters around the world. A grounded full size copper plated baseplate and black string wrap adds to the tone and completes the look and feel.

Amazing Upgrade

I got this Tonerider set to replace Fender designed pickups in my Squier 50s Classic Vibe Telecaster. Units which were pretty good to be fair, but that for me just lost clarity and depth in a live band situation. The Hot Classics gave me the performance and tone upgrade that was missing from the stock units. They scythed through the mix effortlessly without losing body, depth or definition, giving the great Tele tones we all love. I'm am honestly blown away.

Great Upgrade

I bought these to replace the pups in my Squier CV60s Telecaster because they lacked the bite I wanted and the neck pup was microphonic.

Fitting was straight forward, they come with mounting screws so there was no messing around trying to get the original screws to fit. These are noticeably hotter than the original pickups and there is definitely the bite I was after, along with a clarity that wasn't quite there before. There are no microphonic issues with these pups, either.
