Applied lightly, it provides the subtle dark brown shading found on traditional sunburst finishes. With additional coats, the colour builds to a rich, deep brown while retaining a degree of transparency, making it suitable for recreating authentic vintage-style finishes or achieving a darker translucent effect over figured woods.
