Product details

The STN-SRV is designed for players seeking the feel of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s legendary guitar neck. Featuring a chunky D-shape profile, a 12” radius, 21 vintage 2mm frets, and 8mm tuner holes for vintage-style tuners, this neck provides the perfect balance of sustain and control. Finished in vintage gloss, it delivers a classic look with the smooth feel needed for expressive blues playing.

Crafted for outstanding performance

Northwest Guitars Stratocaster-compatible necks are crafted for outstanding performance. Made from hand-selected, A-grade North American maple, each neck is built to offer superior strength, stability, and excellent tonal quality. Whether you’re upgrading your existing guitar, replacing a worn neck, or working on a new build, these necks provide the perfect balance of quality and affordability.

Precision Fit and Premium Components

Designed for ultimate compatibility, our necks are ideal replacements for genuine Fender models, including MIA, MIM, MIJ, and Squier. With a 55.5mm (2 3/16”) wide curved heel, they ensure a snug fit in the neck pocket for easy installation. The pre-slotted, flat-bottom bone nut provides excellent tone straight out of the box and is left unglued, allowing for easy shaping or replacement if needed.

Impeccable Fretwork and Unique Design

Each neck features nickel silver frets that are carefully leveled and polished for smooth playability and precise intonation. The headstock design is reminiscent of classic models but is unique to Northwest Guitars, giving your guitar a distinctive yet familiar look.

Inspected for Perfection

Every neck undergoes a detailed inspection by our team before shipping to ensure you receive a top-quality product. Whether you’re after a classic vintage vibe or a custom design, Northwest Guitars necks deliver professional-level performance at an unbeatable price.

Please note: We are unable to pre-drill the mounting holes into the back of the neck for you. This is because we cannot guarantee that the holes we drill will be a 100% match with those on your guitar body.

Drilling holes for guitar necks is quite simple to do, and you can find an easy to follow tutorial here.

SRV neck

Haven’t added it to guitar yet (Christmas present) but it looks fantastic. I love these 60s style necks without the skunk stripe and truss rod at the body end. Looking forward to adding vintage tuners and adding it to my home build

SRV

This neck is absolutely awesome, really beefy and feels great. I added it to my SRV No1 tribute guitar and it finishes it off. Plays and feels like a high end strat

SRV neck

Yes excellent I have put the SRV NECK on a second hand Squire. It is great as the nut is 42mm and the Squire had 40mm nut and my fingers were too big. I am saving up to buy another to put on my Tele then I will have both necks the same which I think will be advantageous for me and the feel of both necks. Here’s hoping you don’t sell out.
