Vintage Tuners

Vintage tuners tend to be screwed into the back of the headstock, whilst the guitar tuner bushings simply hold the tuners in place rather than being screwed in like with modern tuners. There are endless arguments as to whether vintage or modern tuners are better, but for the most part we find they perform very similarly they just look different!

Dimensions

These vintage tuning machine bushings have an external diameter of 8mm for a comfortable push fit, with an internal diameter of 6.2mm. They will fit the vast majority of aftermarket vintage tuners, such as those offered by Kluson and Gotoh.
