Product details
The Schaller GTM is a premium Tune-O-Matic style bridge engineered for superior tone, precision intonation and rattle-free performance. Supplied here with 1 pair of GTM studs and inserts (M5 metric), it’s a direct upgrade for Les Paul® style and other Tune-O-Matic equipped guitars.
At the heart of the GTM are uncoated, unnotched string saddles milled from solid Pure Sound brass — a material chosen for its excellent sound transmission and ideal balance of softness and resistance. Because the saddles arrive unnotched, you set your own individual string spacing and string action, then finish the slots to taste with a saddle file for perfectly smooth transitions.
Special retainer springs hold everything firmly in place, eliminating the bridge rattle and string buzz common to traditional designs. The result is a form-fit assembly with improved string contact that supports playability, intonation and sustain in equal measure.
