A 1:18 gear ratio provides fine tuning control with a stable, fluid feel. The mechanism is manufactured without synthetic coatings, allowing direct metal contact at critical interfaces. Important note

Only original Schaller GrandTune bushings should be used. The inner diameter is precisely machined for 6.0 mm posts to maintain correct worm gear alignment. Using bushings with a larger inner diameter can lead to premature worm gear wear.
