Tune-o-Matic Roller Bridge for Epiphone Guitars

If your Epiphone guitar has a Bigsby or Duesenberg tremolo, then pairing it with a roller saddle equipped bridge will offer an excellent upgrade, offering enhanced tuning stability whilst relieving the break angle of the strings. Roller saddles will also provide a lesser pressure on your strings than a standard tune-o-matic bridge.

Roller Saddles

The thinking behind roller saddles is to have less pressure and less friction at the bridge, which is particularly useful when combined with tremolo systems for guitars. Even if your guitar isn't tremolo-equipped, roller saddles still provide an advantage over traditional tune-o-matics as the break angle is less pronounced. This means that you won't wear away your bridge saddles over time, a common issue with tune-o-matic equipped guitars. Some players also find that it feels more comfortable against your picking hand thanks to the lack of sharp edges.

Saddle Retention Rings

This bridge utilises saddle retention rings, which prevents the dreaded saddle rattle that's a symptom of lesser bridges of this type. This significant improvement in design means that this bridge will offer a better playing platform, allowing all your notes to ring out to their true potential.

Things to Note

This bridge has 6.3mm post holes to drop over 6mm posts. If you're wanting to upgrade your Gibson LP, SG, or ES then you will need the smaller 4mm posts, so check out our BM015 for this purpose. Please also make certain you do not have a ABR-1 style bridge, as these are slighty narrower than the Nashville. Our ABR-1 bridge for Epiphone guitars can be found by searching for code BM002.

Roller Saddle Bridge

Upgrading your hardware is one of the quickest and low cost ways to find an improvement in your guitar's performance. This Roller Saddle Bridge for Epiphone Guitars will offer a significant upgrade to both your sustain and tuning stability, making your guitar tone come to life!

Roller saddle bridge is brilliant

Perfect fit for my new epiphone Lucille guitar. Only needed the bridge unit. So far ive had no string breaks. Thinking of buying another bridge for my epi Les Paul custom.

Major Improvement On The Original Bridge

A perfect fit across the adjustable height posts, this bridge is very easily fitted. The rollers are so much better than the OEM wedges that were inclined to break strings when bending notes. Only one criticism, not all six rollers are free to fully rotate. Some are a bit stiff in places. Nevertheless, I’m totally knocked out with the improvement on the original bridge. Service from Northwest Guitars superb as usual!

Roller Saddle Nashville Bridge for Epiphone ES Dot

Excellent service and an excellent upgrade to my Dot. I’ve installed a Les Trem and the roller saddle bridge on my Dot and they work together perfectly. The intonation was easy to set and the tuning has stayed solid. I previously added one of these roller bridges to my Gretsch Nick 13 Tiger Jet so had no hesitation buying a second one for my Dot. I would definitely recommend this roller saddle.

Direct swap for standard bridge in Gretsch G5232T Electromatic Double Jet FT

Improved Bigsby tuning no end and even fitted on the pegs already in the guitar. Good advice/live chat (thanks).
