Product details
The Northwest Guitars compact crowning file gives you two cutting surfaces on one tool: a coarse side for removing material quickly and a fine side for refining the crown before polishing. Large triangles mark the coarse surface and small triangles mark the fine surface, so you always know which side you're working with. Clear arrows show the cutting direction.
The 2mm profile suits medium and jumbo fret wire, giving a wider contact area for shaping the crown evenly. A silicone rubber grip keeps it secure in the hand for controlled, consistent strokes.
