Fender® Mid Boost Enhancement Kit designed for Stratocasters equipped with active electronics.

This circuit is utilized in the signature models of Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy, often known as the Clapton Boost. The Mid Boost knob allows you to adjust the gain from 0 dB (no boost) to 25 dB (maximum mid-range boost). This enhancement delivers exceptional clarity when used with a clean tone and provides precise control over distortion.

The kit comprises the main PCB board, a TBX tone potentiometer, volume and tone potentiometers, an output jack, a capacitor, a 1/4-watt resistor, all necessary mounting hardware, a wiring diagram, and setup instructions.

Fender Mid Boost Kit

What an excellent enhancement the Mid Boost (and TBX circuit) Kit is. It works really well and, as usual I am very pleased with the service from Northwest Guitars (NWG).
I have gigged with a couple of Roland G5 VG Fender Stratocaster since about 2012. I have done a fair bit of maintenance, upgrade and replacement work on them. Much of this had been sourced from Northwest Guitars. Such as swapping out the fret - worn necks for new NWG Vintage Gloss ones.
Recently the on - board modelling electrics started to malfunction in one. As the Roland Fender Start had been discontinued for some time, I needed to find something that would give me a variety of clean tones and produce that crunchy feel. I went for the Mid Boost Kit. I was so pleased I did. Its unobtrusive, easy to use and It gives my Strat a whole new dimension. I love it. A good competitive price. It arrived on time and was well protected from being damaged in transit. Positions 2 & 4 are even more outstanding, and I find that I now really love using my Strat Bridge Pickup!!! What more can I say. Highly recommended.
