It didnt fit, the trem arm hole had to be elongated, the string holes had to be opened up, so not a great experiance all told.

Fender recommended I buy part number 0041359049 for a replacement tremolo arm (6mm) for my Squier Stratocaster Standard. Unfortunately it was too large so I purchased the "5mm Tremolo Arm - USA Stratocaster Compatible" from Northwest Guitars and it fitted perfectly. Yes, the plating is not perfect and there is a visible seam on the knob but it fits and it works and was reasonably priced
The plating isn't perfect up close and the knob has a visible seam. But more importantly it's a snug fit and feels solid to use. Would recommend at this price point!
