5-Hole Telecaster Compatible Pickguard
5-hole Vintage 50's style Scratchplate to fit most USA, Mexican Telecasters
Early 50's scratchplates were typically made out of Bakelite material. Celluloid materials were introduced a little later, typically single-ply in either white or black.
The pickguard was fixed to the body with 5 mounting screws, and there were no holes for mounting the neck pickup (the pickup was mounted directly into the pickup cavity on the body).
We've modelled our 5 hole scratchplates on this 1950's design, but with a wider variety of colours and a choice of single or 3-ply.
Specification
3 ply scratchplates: 2.4mm thick
