Overwound for enhanced low-end response, the Duke P adds extra punch and thickness to your Precision Bass. The scatterwound coils, combined with fully charged Alnico 5 polepieces, deliver increased output, making the Duke P an ideal “Vintage Modern” pickup set.
Each pickup is wax potted to eliminate microphonic feedback, and the two coils are reverse-wound, reverse-polarity (RWRP) for hum-cancelling operation—just like the original designs.
The Duke P is available with flat or staggered polepieces, with the staggered option performing particularly well on basses with rounder fingerboards, like the 7 1/4” radius found on vintage models and reissues.
