If your guitar features a Bigsby or Duesenberg tremolo, upgrading to a roller saddle bridge is an excellent choice. It improves tuning stability and reduces string breakage by easing the break angle. Even on guitars without tremolo systems, roller saddles outperform standard tune-o-matics by reducing string pressure and friction.

I fitted the nickel plated version to a gibson guitar with a bigsby vibrato unit. It helped with the smoothness of operation, sensitivity and return to pitch. I experience far fewer tuning problems since fitting this bridge. It was very reasonably priced but there is no noticeable difference in quality from the original tune-o-matic. I will be purchasing another to fit to another guitar.
I ordered a roller saddle from NW, to replace the standard Gibson SG fitting which I don’t get on with.
The arrived on time, and was well packed.
This roller saddle Nashville bridge is a direct drop-in replacement for the 'lipstick' rocker bridge on a Gretsch G6118T (made in Japan), which has no means of intonating the strings. I had to use the supplied smaller thumbwheels as the originals were too large under this bridge. They went straight onto the original 4mm threaded posts with no problems. Note also that this bridge is taller than the original, which required the height wheels to be lowered almost to the bottom of their travel. This might be an issue if you like a VERY low action.
Perfect fit on my bigsby equipped Epiphone and improved tuning stability no end.
