Product details
Designed specifically for modern Stratocaster-style guitars using 52.5mm string spacing, the BS006 tremolo unit features modern-style saddles and a shorter 36mm sustain block, making it ideal for guitars with slimmer bodies where a full-sized block may not fit correctly.
The 52.5mm mounting hole spacing and 10.5mm string spacing make this unit a direct replacement for many modern Strat-style tremolos, with no modifications required in most cases.
This modern-style tremolo unit features a Zinc sustain block, similar to many original factory-fitted units.
Zinc is lighter than materials such as brass or steel, which helps keep the overall guitar weight down — something many players prefer for comfort and balance.
Tonally, zinc is often regarded as offering a balanced and neutral response, without overly emphasising highs or lows. While tonal preference is always subjective, many players appreciate the smooth, even character it provides.
The modern saddles also offer a more comfortable playing feel compared to vintage bent steel saddles, with a smoother profile and more contemporary appearance.
