Product details

The STN-RVG combines a smooth rosewood fretboard with a vintage gloss finish, delivering a classic playing experience with a touch of modern refinement. Featuring 21 frets and a comfortable modern C profile, this neck provides excellent playability, while the vintage gloss offers a subtly aged aesthetic without the sticky feel of a full gloss finish.

Crafted for outstanding performance

Northwest Guitars Stratocaster-compatible necks are crafted for outstanding performance. Made from hand-selected, A-grade North American maple, each neck is built to offer superior strength, stability, and excellent tonal quality. Whether you’re upgrading your existing guitar, replacing a worn neck, or working on a new build, these necks provide the perfect balance of quality and affordability.

Precision Fit and Premium Components

Designed for ultimate compatibility, our necks are ideal replacements for genuine Fender models, including MIA, MIM, MIJ, and Squier. With a 55.5mm (2 3/16”) wide curved heel, they ensure a snug fit in the neck pocket for easy installation. The pre-slotted, flat-bottom bone nut provides excellent tone straight out of the box and is left unglued, allowing for easy shaping or replacement if needed.

Impeccable Fretwork and Unique Design

Each neck features nickel silver frets that are carefully leveled and polished for smooth playability and precise intonation. The headstock design is reminiscent of classic models but is unique to Northwest Guitars, giving your guitar a distinctive yet familiar look.

Inspected for Perfection

Every neck undergoes a detailed inspection by our team before shipping to ensure you receive a top-quality product. Whether you’re after a classic vintage vibe or a custom design, Northwest Guitars necks deliver professional-level performance at an unbeatable price.

Please note: We are unable to pre-drill the mounting holes into the back of the neck for you. This is because we cannot guarantee that the holes we drill will be a 100% match with those on your guitar body.

Drilling holes for guitar necks is quite simple to do, and you can find an easy to follow tutorial here.

Loose fit to body

The neck to body fit was loose, other suppliers necks were a perfect fit. I emailed this issue without reply.

I am sorry to hear that your query went unanswered Ian. I have since found the missing communication. Please accept my apologies for the lack of a reply.

I can see that you purchased the neck from us but not the body. Our necks are made to the same dimensions as Fender with a heel width of 55.6mm. We can't really comment on whether this would be a suitable replacement for the body you have without knowing more about the manufacturer of the body.
