Product details

The STN-RM03 is crafted from roasted maple, known for its enhanced resonance, stability, and rich, dark grain. It features 21 medium jumbo frets, a 9.5” radius, and a modern C profile for a comfortable, familiar feel. Finished in a thin coat of natural satin lacquer, the neck offers a smooth, fast-playing surface that won’t get sticky under stage lights — ideal for gigging musicians

Crafted for outstanding performance

Northwest Guitars Stratocaster-compatible necks are crafted for outstanding performance. Made from hand-selected, A-grade North American maple, each neck is built to offer superior strength, stability, and excellent tonal quality. Whether you’re upgrading your existing guitar, replacing a worn neck, or working on a new build, these necks provide the perfect balance of quality and affordability.

Precision Fit and Premium Components

Designed for ultimate compatibility, our necks are ideal replacements for genuine Fender models, including MIA, MIM, MIJ, and Squier. With a 55.5mm (2 3/16”) wide curved heel, they ensure a snug fit in the neck pocket for easy installation. The pre-slotted, flat-bottom bone nut provides excellent tone straight out of the box and is left unglued, allowing for easy shaping or replacement if needed.

Impeccable Fretwork and Unique Design

Each neck features nickel silver frets that are carefully leveled and polished for smooth playability and precise intonation. The headstock design is reminiscent of classic models but is unique to Northwest Guitars, giving your guitar a distinctive yet familiar look.

Inspected for Perfection

Every neck undergoes a detailed inspection by our team before shipping to ensure you receive a top-quality product. Whether you’re after a classic vintage vibe or a custom design, Northwest Guitars necks deliver professional-level performance at an unbeatable price.

Please note: We are unable to pre-drill the mounting holes into the back of the neck for you. This is because we cannot guarantee that the holes we drill will be a 100% match with those on your guitar body.

Drilling holes for guitar necks is quite simple to do, and you can find an easy to follow tutorial here.

Roasted maple neck

This item has exceeded my expectations. Not only are the frets polished, but the fret ends perfect. I bought a strat body a few weeks ago from Northwest and the two fit together snuggly which is reassuring. I bought a Fender player Mexican strat last year and it was crap, I sent it back. I just hope this build doesn't require any fret leveling because this neck is a dream. I saw a video on YouTube by Guitar Quackery looking at a Jeff Beck tribute guitar by Fender at $4800 and the quality was shameful. This build is going to be the best strat I've ever had.
