This mixed grade pack of non-woven abrasive pads provides a practical range of grits for sanding, blending, and surface preparation during guitar body finishing and paintwork. Manufactured using abrasive minerals bonded into a flexible nylon fibre structure, the pads deliver consistent cutting performance while resisting clogging.
Designed as a non-metallic alternative to steel wool, these pads are suitable for use on bare wood, sealed surfaces, and finished components. Their flexible construction allows them to follow body contours, edges, and carved areas without aggressive cutting, making them well suited to controlled workshop use.
The mixed pack includes six pads covering coarse preparation through to fine finishing and polishing stages, allowing progressive work without changing abrasive types.
Included grades:
- 240 (Brown) – coarse material removal and initial surface preparation
- 400 (Burgundy) - general sanding and blending
- 600 (Green) - light smoothing and finish preparation
- 1000 (Olive) – fine surface refinement
- 1500 (Grey) – pre-polish finishing
- 2000 (Orange) – ultra-fine finishing and polishing prep
These abrasive pads can be used wet or dry.
