Drop-in deluxe wiring harness for Squier Stratocaster

 Hand built by us here in the Uk, this configuration is a direct replacement for the electrics found in most Squier Stratocasters. We've used ultra reliable Alpha audio taper pots (CTS pots are too big for Squier scratchplates), and we've upgraded the switch, capacitor and wire. 

Standard configuration of tone control on neck and middle pickups. Bridge pickup is straight through with no tone control.  

Essential upgrades - improved tone & reliability 

We've replaced the standard filmsy plastic 5 way switch with a more solid, metal encased version. We've been using these switches for years, and can attest to their reliability. We've upgraded the capacitor to a genuine Sprague orange drop (0.022uf) for improved tone, and the nasty plastic coated wire has been replaced by USA made 22 gauge cloth push back wire (the type used in vintage Fender models).

If you're looknig to replace the tired electrics in your Squier Strat, this will drop straight in and give your axe a tidy little upgrade at the same time. 

Contents of the wiring harness:

•  1 x metal encased 5-way switch
•  3 x full size Alpha Audio Taper pots (250K)
•  1 x Genuine Sprague Orange Drop Cap (0.022uf)
•  Vintage cloth covered wire (USA Made)
• 1 x Switchcraft 1.4" mono output jack socket

All fitted to our custom aluminium control shield (helps reduce hum, and eliminates the need for the 3 point wiring to the back of the pots) 

Hand built in the UK 

All of our wiring harnesses are assembled by us here in the UK using high quality silver solder and USA made vintage cloth push-back wire. We even solder the output jack so the whole thing is ready to drop-in.

All parts are fitted to our aluminium control shield there’s no need to dis-assemble the parts to fit them to your scratchplate.  Simply add the whole assembly to the underside of your scratchplate and it’s done!
