Northwest Guitars Water-Based Glossy Top Coat - 250ml

After months of research and testing, we're really excited to introduce our new range of guitar specific water-based products.

This water based product will produce a deep vibrant finish, with easy application and relativley quick drying times.

This product can be used straight out of the tin, with the mnimum of prep (just sand the body smooth) and applied with a lint free cloth or sponge appliator. Drying time is around 3 hours. 3-4 coats tend to be enough for a deep rich finish, but addtional coats can be applied if necessary.

One 250ml bottle will give you plenty to play with, with enough product to easily complete 2 or 3 guitars.

Apply with a lint-free cloth or sponge applicator.  Allow to dry and then apply further coats until you reach your coverage.

Water-based products have a limited lifespan, even when sealed. However, proper storage and handling can help prolong their usability (see Storage Tips below).

If stored correctly, unopened water-based products can last 3-5 years. Over time, products will show more signs of separation or stratification, particularly after three years compared to those that are 6 months to a year old. Always stir thoroughly before use.

If your product develops a foul odor, it is likely contaminated and no longer suitable for use.

Best i have used!

Practice on scrap wood you will not get it right first time! dont try to wipe it on apply it with a good brush not to thick or bubbles will form, once you get the knack you will get an amazing, durable finish which can be buffed to your liking.
