Originally created in Seymour Duncan’s Custom Shop for Iron Maiden’s Steve Harris, this P-Bass pickup delivers powerful tone with a unique low-mid boost for extra punch and body. Despite its aggressive character, it retains a crisp, clear high-end that cuts through the mix.
Using hand-ground Alnico 5 rod magnets and a special vintage-hot custom wind rated at 13k Ohms, this pickup offers signature bite and clarity ideal for fast, articulate playing. Steve Harris personally collaborated on the design to meet his exacting tonal demands.
Handcrafted in Santa Barbara, CA, the Steve Harris P-Bass pickup features Forbon flatwork, vintage construction, and vacuum wax potting for squeal-free operation.
