This second-generation nickel silver alloy is engineered for durability and precision. Unlike traditional 18% nickel silver, our 36% blend contains almost double the nickel content, giving it superior resistance to corrosion and wear, along with a brighter, smoother finish. These qualities make it a popular choice for high-end guitars where long-lasting performance is essential.
The higher hardness of 36% nickel silver provides excellent longevity but can make installation more challenging compared to standard 18% wire – a worthwhile trade-off for players seeking maximum durability and a polished playing surface.
