DiMarzio DP181 Fast Track 1 Pickup

The Fast Track 1™ pickup delivers a hotter and more robust tone compared to The Cruiser, while still maintaining a bright and clean sound, distinct from a full-size humbucker. Its dual-blade continuous magnetic field ensures even string balance and minimizes magnet-pull issues commonly found in rod-magnet designs.

With double the output of a standard single-coil, it pairs exceptionally well with medium-to-hot full-size humbuckers. You have the flexibility to install a complete set of Fast Track 1™ pickups in a Strat® style guitar or mix and match with other dual-blade models to create custom pickup sets.

Tech Talk

The Fast Track 1 offers increased headroom compared to vintage single-coils, making it versatile for both clean and overdriven amplifier settings. It is ideal for situations where a single-coil sound with higher power and hum-cancellation is needed. It can be used in any position within a standard Strat® setup. While it may not be as loud as high-output pickups, its dynamic range allows it to blend seamlessly with all our full-size humbuckers, especially when using overdrive effects.
