Sprague Dime Tone Capacitors differ slightly from their more popular Orange Drop variety due to their construction. Ceramic disc, or 'Dime Caps' as they're more popularly known are an older technology that is very simple and stable. Popular for getting vintage correct tone, these are the kind of guitar tone caps that greats like Hendrix and Eric Johnson would have used.
Sprague Ceramic Disc Dime Capacitors offer excellent consistency and are great for creating vintage correct wiring circuits, or just replacing a capacitor like for like.
