The Seymour Duncan SJB-1 Vintage Jazz Bass pickups faithfully recreate the warm, dynamic sound of early ‘60s single coils, delivering the perfect balance of clarity, punch, and vintage character.

The neck pickup offers a rich, full low end with just the right amount of midrange warmth, while the bridge pickup provides smooth, punchy brightness that complements the neck for a well-balanced tone. Wound RWRP, this set delivers hum-free performance when used together.

Designed as a drop-in replacement for any American Standard Jazz Bass (note: Mexican Standard models use two neck-sized pickups), these pickups are handcrafted using period-correct materials, including hand-ground Alnico 5 magnets, vintage-style Forbon flatwork, and waxed cloth pushback wire.
