Seymour Duncan’s Antiquity Jazz Bass pickup is an authentic recreation of the iconic vintage Jazz Bass tone heard on countless legendary recordings. It delivers the warm, rich character and midrange punch that defined an era of music, while RWRP construction ensures hum-free operation when both pickups are used together.
Faithful to the original designs that helped shape modern music, this pickup stays true to classic tone without chasing trends. Handcrafted in Seymour Duncan’s Custom Shop, the Antiquity Jazz Bass features calibrated Alnico 2 rod magnets, vintage-correct flatwork, cloth push-back wire, and is finished with lacquer and wax potting—just like the originals.
