Black TUSQ XL Nut Blank 1/8″ PT-4125-00

A 1/8″ Black TUSQ XL nut blank for players who bend hard, play aggressively and expect their guitar to stay in tune. Supplied unslotted and oversized, it's ready to be shaped and cut to suit your instrument – ideal for custom builds, restorations and replacement nuts where a pre-shaped part won't fit.

Say Goodbye to String Binding

Strings catching in the nut slots is one of the most common causes of tuning problems. Black TUSQ XL is impregnated with PTFE, one of the slipperiest materials known, so strings slide freely through the nut instead of sticking. Bend, shred or use a tremolo, and your strings glide straight back to pitch.

How Does It Sound?

Black TUSQ XL is made from the same man-made ivory as standard TUSQ, so you get all the same tonal benefits. It transfers string vibration efficiently into the neck, bringing out richer harmonics and more detail from every note. Because it's engineered rather than natural, it's consistent from piece to piece and throughout each piece – no soft spots, voids or grain inconsistencies found in bone.
