Made in Japan

MIJ Strats are super popular thanks to the Japanese design ingenuity and rigorous QC standards. Like any MIJ Strat, this guitar is flawlessly finished and put together immaculately. Taking on the classic Strat design and adding some futuristic style and premium appointments, this bold guitar is one of the most well made Fender's we've ever seen!

Slim Aerodyne Body

Unusually for a Fender, this guitar is made from Basswood. Basswood has a bit of reputation thanks to its use in a lot of beginner and intermediate instruments, however it's actually really quite good as a tonewood for guitar bodies.

As well as being lightweight, it offers a resonant and airy feel to the guitar. Finished in a stunning Speed Green Metallic, it's also bound for some extra class. The top is carved which you won't find on many Fender Stratocaster guitars, making this a stand out for more than one reason.

Aerodyne Special Pickups

Specially designed for the Aerodyne range, this guitar features the ultra-versatile HSS layout. An all new design from Fender Japan, the two single-coils are vintage voiced and mated to a special design Fender humbucking bridge pickup for high performance and classic Fender tone.

Modern "C" Neck

The Modern "C" profile is staple on the majority of Fender guitars for good reason. It combines the sleek and speed of a fast playing neck with the 12" radius fretboard to make bending effortless. Get ready for massive bends and effortless legato runs with this one!

Babicz Bridge

Another rarity for Fender guitars, the Aerodyne Special Strat features a Babicz Full Contact Hardware bridge. Offering more contact between the strings, saddles, and the body of the instrument, you get increased sustain and outstanding resonance.

Fender Locking Tuners

Locking tuners are one of the most powerful additions you can make to any guitar, but works particularly when that guitar has a tremolo. The increased tuning stability comes with another perk too, rapid fire string changes! With no wrapping required you can do a full string change in just a few minutes!
